Stacking Pre-Requisites N3000 Series
Hi everyone,
This is a pre-sale question. One of my customers currently have a N3048EP-ON, and they need to add another switch and make them stacking. Is it mandatory to purchase the same exact switch in order to perform stacking? or I can purchase from other series, or maybe the same series, but non PoE.

Areyesilva,
As seen on page 65 of the manual, found here, the N3000 series switchs support stacking with other N3000 series switches. So they don't have to be identical switches, just within the same series. This is the same between all the series (N2000, N3000, and N4000), they are bound to their own series of switches for stacking.
