stack network switch N3248TE

Hello

I have a network switch N3248TE and I wish will put in stack with another 2 network switch N3048ET but I tried did and showed the next message in the command line:

could not set front panel stacking mode

The sw 3048 are in stack for SAS cable but this sw 3248 is by cable F.O in the SFP port front.

Which I can do for that stack  work succesfull with the 3 network switch?

Thank

On the existing N3048ET you can run the command "show supported switchtype" which will list the switch models that are allowed to join that stack.

On the N3048ET you can do a MixedStacking with N30xx & N31xx but not with the N32xx

When you download the firmware .zip file it will have a .pdf file that will list the stacking compatibilities

You best bet is to attach the new N3248TE as a standalone with a duel homed port-channel to each of the member switches in your existing N3048ET  stack.

Hope that helps
