I suggest you that SNMP port 161 and 162 are not blocked by any firewall.

Hre the syntax

snmp-server host <ip address> version 2c <community string>
Ensure that the community string is correctly configured and matches the one used in your SNMP manage.
Then enable SNMP traps with snmp-server enable traps snmp

Hi Support,

Ports 161 and 162 on the host are open because they are being used by another device. We have already tried disabling the firewall and verified the host’s connection.

I still encountered error when configuring snmp-server host <ip address> version 2c <community string>, even though the community string is correct. Please refer to the attached image for reference.

Thank you.

Hi,

What firmware OS are you running, is it the latest? 10.6.

Can you try:

snmp-server host 10.5.70.100 version 2c netflowdell snmp

Hi Support,

Is it possible that I'm encountering this SNMP issue due to old firmware?

Thank you.
