SNMP Configuration to Dell EMC S4148F-ON
Error encountered when configuring snmp target.
snmp-server host <ip add> version 2c <string>
snmp-server host <ip add> <string>
Error: Failed to configure trap recipient host entry.
No Events found!

I suggest you that SNMP port 161 and 162 are not blocked by any firewall.

Hi Support,

Ports 161 and 162 on the host are open because they are being used by another device. We have already tried disabling the firewall and verified the host’s connection.
I still encountered error when configuring snmp-server host <ip address> version 2c <community string>, even though the community string is correct. Please refer to the attached image for reference.

What firmware OS are you running, is it the latest? 10.6.

Hi Support,

This configuration <snmp-server host 10.5.70.100 version 2c netflowdell snmp> is not available on my device. Please see image below.
Here's the firmware of my switch10.4.0.
is there problem with my firmware? Do I need to update this?
