S5232F - local port 100g latency issues
Hello,
I have a S5232F (firmware 10.5.2.6) switch with 100G ports, I have 10 ports connected to ConnectX-5 Ex 100G cards.
The ports are configured as following:

I experience high latency in application that they crawl to a slow. I can see those slow-downs between the hosts too.

What can I do to solve them? How do I figure out what's causing them?

Do you have the MTU set the same on all network components in the data path?

Hi,
mtu is set on both sides to 9000.
Tracert / traceroute / mtr give me the same result, no hops in between, high worst case pings:
Additionally it does not affect all nodes, and also not all the time.
Is there something in OS10 that would help me measure these issues and figure out if it's the host, the mellanox adapter, or the switch?

Hi @Thoro_cf,
There isn't any feature in OS10 that could help you analyze the issue. Probably a packet capture by WireShark could help identity the issue.
The configuration do seem correct, the firmware looks slightly out of date, but unsure if it's the root case, newest is 10.5.4.3. Above all, if unable to find out the root cause, you might want to contact support to analyze the supportshow logs to check if there is any CRC errors.
