S4148T-ON - Using a 10G SFP+ with a QSA-Q28-S28 adapter
Hello,
Just wondering if its possible to insert a QSA-Q28-S28 adapter into port eth1/1/25 and then insert a 10G SFP so that I can use this port for 10G fibre connection?
If so, is there any config required for the QSA adapter?
Thanks

Hi,
That should work, but I wasn’t able to find anything besides QSFP28 to SFP28 that we offer. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

Before using the QSA to convert a 40 Gigabit Ethernet port to a 10 Gigabit SFP or SFP+ port, you must enable 40 G to 4*10 fan-out mode on the device.
When you insert a QSA into a 40 Gigabit port, you can use only the first 10 Gigabit port in the fan-out mode to plug-in SFP or SFP+ cables. The remaining three 10 Gigabit ports are perceived to be in Link Down state and are unusable.
