S4048-ON OS9 shell root access?

I am running a script in my S4048-ON switch, however, I've encountered some issues as I start to get "kernel maxfiles" errors. The script stops working properly and soon after I can't even login in. I'd like to try and remedy the issue through shell, but without root access I can't do much. Is it possible to gain root access to the shell? I really don't want to reload my switch every time something like that occurs.

Nov 29 14:58:24 %S4048-ON:1 %KERN-3-INT: file: table is full - increase kern.maxfiles or MAXFILES

Hi AndriusLi,

I do not see a way to do it. There is a command for root-access password, but it is for the OS and not the shell.
