Hello,

you have only to reinstall Network OS in this case.

Thanks

Hi @meise7,

You can refer to page10 to change the boot order and also the steps for upgrade: https://dell.to/3r8bHqR

If I change the boot order, which do I pick to boot?  My concern is that after I upgraded the Network OS for my DELL S4048-on switch, to 9.14 or so, I thought i was supposed to run an 'reboot onie install' or related command.  Later, I read that there was a warning somewhere saying that "previous NOS are lost when boot into ONIE install mode" so, to clarify, I need to only reinstall the Network OS or do I need to reinstall ONIE also?  Sorry, I am very new to DELL switches and used to Cisco ones.  Thanks

one quick follow up.  The ONIE syntax for installing a network OS doesn't seem to work for me.  I'm using vsftp.  Do I not specify a username?

onie-nos-install ftp://my_name@A.B.C.D/home/my_name/ftp/FTOS-SK......

Info: Fetching ftp://my_name@A.B.C.D/home/my_name/ftp/FTOS-SK-9.14.2.11.bin ...
Connecting to A.B.C.D (A.B.C.D:21)
wget: ftp login: Login incorrect.

Thoughts?

Thanks.

Hello

Where the file is located?

Here the video guide about how to install OS.

Can you try with TFTP?
Thanks
