REVERSE AIRFLOW FAIL
Hi All,
We have deployed few S4148T running OS10 in the datacenter. I recently noticed "fail" from the fan status as show below;
-- Power Supplies --
PSU-ID Status Type AirFlow Fan Speed(rpm) Status
----------------------------------------------------------------
1 up AC REVERSE 1 22400 up
2 up AC REVERSE 1 22560 up
-- Fan Status --
FanTray Status AirFlow Fan Speed(rpm) Status
----------------------------------------------------------------
1 up REVERSE 1 15984 fail
2 15123 fail
2 up REVERSE 1 15984 fail
2 15008 fail
3 up REVERSE 1 16049 fail
2 15360 fail
4 up REVERSE 1 16049 fail
2 14894 fail
The I/O is facing the hot aisle while the PSU is facing the cold aisle in the datacenter. I understand the airflow on this switch should be from rear (PSU) to front (I/O). The fan indicator shows reverse airflow. The switch is running:

Hi,
There is a fix on version 10.5.6.4; you should be having a version 10.5.6.5 in your DDL support login. Please check if the issue is resolve after updating to the latest version and also do remember to update BIOS/CPLD/ONIE. If you are having trouble to update, I suggest contacting the support for assistance.
