Question about automatically backup running configuration in schedule for S4148f-on switchs
Hi all,
I have a bunch of S4148F that ran on the latest Dell OS10 and i want it to push the scheduled backup configuration to ftp server automatically.
Does this switch or this OS version have the ability to perform such task natively with CLI? or do i need to have a third party tool to do it? I've been looking everywhere on the web but found no resolution.

You would just need to setup a script to run at specified times, probably a CRON job on Linux system. Google will be your friend on this one.

I already aware of this article. But this can only done manually. Is there anyway to schedule the system to automatically backup the config to ftp server in specific time?

Hi @Bao Nguyen,
Unfortunately there is no schedule automatic back up can be done via the switch. I heard it can be done using 3rd party software, but we do not support 3rd party software therefore unable to provide you any recommendation.
Maybe you can wait for the general public in this forum to give you opinions.
