Powerswitch S4048 LAG using ports from 2 switches in VLTI
Hello,
I have 4 switches (2 in each rack) with VLTI configured for every 2 switches in each rack.
I want the switches in rack 1 and rack 2 to communicate and i have 1x 10Gbps ports from each switch connecting to the other switch in the other rack.
Is there a possibility to create a LAG on the VLTI switches (1 port from switch1 rack1 & 1 port from switch 2 Rack1) and same on the rack 2 switches?
please advise.
Thank you.

Hello,

Hope it helps

Hello Marco,
Thank you for the reply
So as described in the Page 1039, i can create a port channel and create a new VLT domain different from the VLTI domain ?
and then i will add for example port 53 from switch 1 and repeat same steps and add port 53 on switch 2 to that same port channel ?
Hopefully you can help clarify the steps further.
Thank you.

Hi @Joe Chaaya,
Yes, this sounds to be correct. Try using the guide Marco provided and let us know if the configuration works for you. By the way, what is the OS/Firmware on your S4048?

Hello Joey,
This is the diagram to better explain.
I need to create LAG 1 and LAG 2 using 1 port from each switch.
as for the switches it is OS10.
Please help me if possible with the exact procedure and commands in order to avoid missing fundamental steps.
Thank you
