PowerEdge 2848 connected to Meraki MS225 via SFP port not working.
I am trying to connect a Meraki MS225 PoE switch to a PowerEdge 2848 via SFP ports. I set the configuration of the Meraki MS225 to 1GB and set the RSTP option to Disable. The STP Guard is also set to Disable. I get a blinking link ligh on the port on the PowerEdge 2848 and an amber light on the port on the Meraki. It appears to be very close, which really doesn't mean much, except that the ports are not communcating properly.

Hello CampArctic,
Could you verify the PowerEdge server you are working with? I'm not seeing a PowerEdge 2848.
I would first recommend make sure the drivers and firmware are up to date.
If you are using a third party NIC make sure the manufacturer has validated it for your server.
I recommend using Dell components with Dell firmware to help prevent any incompatibility issues.
