Port channel with multiple mtu
Hello, I have two S4048-ON (TOR) and two S3148 (dept) each couple on its own VLT domain. I have a port channel between TOR and dept switches with multiple vlans and standard MTU. I need to change the MTU for some physical interfaces on both switches to 9000. Should I also change MTU on port channel? In this case, what happens to other vlans traffic? Should I leave port channel standard configuration and change MTU for a specific VLAN?
Thanks for your help!

Hello,
it depends on how you want to configure the link between the two switch.
If you change MTU on port channel then you can change MTU on specific VLAN.
You can see here some info that maybe can help

Thank you Marco. What I need is to raise MTU of a specific vlan (9000 for nfs traffic) on all the related interfaces. The problem is that this vlan is also on a port channel with other vlans with standard MTU. I'm not sure if port channel MTU needs to be set to 9000 and most important, what happens to the other traffic.
Best,

Hello alexio79,
The MTU range is from 592 to 9216, with a default of 9216.
Port Channels: All members must have the same link MTU value and the same IP MTU value.
