Hello coolsung,

Are you doing a new install or an upgrade?

Check you are following these steps:

https://dell.to/3XgVbEB

Dell Networking Operating System, OS9, v9.14.2.17

Does it show a Product Name if you run this command:  sys_eeprom

Please note we are unable assist directly in making new configurations, but we do have professional services which can help you to deploy the configuration you need. You may consider contacting Dell Sales department for a professional deployment if needed.

I hope the resources I am able to supply will be helpful for you.

Hello,

The problem is still.
I type "onie-syseeprom" command becuase no support U-Boot mode.

================================
OONIE:/ # onie-syseeprom
TlvInfo Header:
      Id String: TlvInfo
     Version: 1
     Total Length: 44
TLV Name              Code   Len      Value
--------------------         ---- -      --          -----
Platform Name     0x28    26        x86_64-dell_s6000_s1220-r0
ONIE Version.        0x29      8         3.20.1.3
CRC-32                   0xFE      4         0x20D0A24B

Is it possible roleback to ver 9.7 without removed ONIE?

Version 9.7 is not available, but you can see here other version

Can you try to update for example 9.13.0.3?

Thanks

Other versions are the same situation.
Also, Installing BCF(CCF) spine & leaf OS are impossible.

Are S6000 and S6000-On different model depending on ONIE supporting?
Please, refer the below URL.

I found strange point that MAC Address is AA-BB-CC-DD-EE-FF.
Is it correct?? How to change MAC Address?

Hello coolsung,

There is a possibility that the reinstall or updated of the OS was wrong and corrupted.

The release notes show: If you are upgrading from an earlier OS9 version to 9.14.2.x, ensure you first upgrade to version 9.13.0.0 before upgrading to the required version of 9.14.2.x to prevent any issues during the upgrade procedure.

You can try to reboot again then during the BOOT with ONIE prompt, select option to uninstall OS completely.

Then try to download another BIN file again to make sure you got a good download.

You may also try with a different USB then see how it goes .

Next you may try restore factory defaults and reinstall:

If the last recommendations does not provide any relief, I would recommend contact Support directly. An engineer can do a remote session to work the issue with you. The forum is not set up for that type engagement.

With these issues:  Factory MAC Address:  AA:BB:CC:DD:EE:FF and Product Name is Not Configured in ONIE, You should have an engineer to look at this with you.

If you don't have an active warranty, you can check about extending warranty or ask for Post Standard Support contract to work the issue.

I think my mistake.
The problem switch model is not "S6000-ON" but "S6000".
9.13.0.0 and others version in ONIE is impossible for installing.

This S6000 is not supported OS9 in ONIE installation because of no ON(Open Network) switch. Please, refer the below link.
https://www.dell.com/community/Networking-General/Dell-S6000-with-ONIE-won-t-install-OS9/td-p/8185951

But, in our lab is using BCF(CCF) OS in ONIE of S6000 & S6000-ON.
This is very confused.
However, the problem S6000 switch is not installing BCF(CCF) OS.

If possible I want to OS9 with removed ONIE. Or I should connect to Dell support team.

Hi, I think it is due to the difference between S6000 and S6000-ON.  But I recommend contacting your local Dell support team for the best course of action.
