Old Intel 10Gb nics
I purchased two NICs several years ago, and I would like to find some new transceivers for them. Their serial numbers end with:
G18786-002
E82394-002
If I remember they’re both Dell/Intel 10Gb network cards, I believe they were x520 cards, but still unsure if they were the -DA2 or -SR2.
Nevertheless, does anyone know their product ids, or some dell identifier so I can lookup their owners manual to find drivers and compatible transceivers?
Does it even matter that these were dell branded cards? Meaning can I just use Intel drivers and transceivers?
Thank you
rip

Hi rip,
It looks like they are both X520-DA2 cards. If they are in Dell servers you can go to https://dell.to/3niOUXE and go to that model and find the drivers. If they are not, Intel’s driver should be fine. https://dell.to/3E6zTif

Thank you, am I also able to use intel SFP+ modules? Or do I need Dell branded modules?
