Networking dell blade M620 for Dell PE M1000e
Hi, I have purchased some time back a Dell PE m1000e with 3 x M710HD, 2 x M620 and 11 x M610. All the blades are connecting to the network except the 2 x M620. Both have 2 embedded qlogic 10gb ports and 1 mezzanine NIC card 10gb ethernet with 2 ports. I upgraded the firmware and driver to the latest version. The enclosure is equipped with 2 pass through ethernet IO cards with 1 ports each. I am only connecting 1 of the IO card pass through card to the network. I also moved the blades around in the enclosure. But no success. The 2 x M620 are still not working.
Any idea how to solve this issue?
Thanks.

Can you try setting the nic speed to 1gb in the OS and see if it allows it to connect?

Hi,
Is the CMC firmware up to date? Are the passthroughs 10Gbps? What is the midplane revision of the chassis? Are the 11th gen servers also on 10Gb?

Hi,
The cmc is updated to the latest firmware update. The pass throughs are 1gb. The midplane revision is 1.1. The other blades have 1gb and 10gb but connection is on 1gb.
Best regards
