ip subnet based VLAN on powerconnect 5524 5548
Hello,
I really would like to know wether I can associate VLANs based on subnets on the 5500 series, as with our setup, multiple subnets can come in from the same port on portbased VLAN is thus not a choice.
Unfortunatly I didn't find any information at all and also the CLI commands from newer switches as "vlan associate vlan" are not mentioned in the 5500 cli guide, so yes, I already doubt it is possible, but at least to leave information behind for google I would appreciate a definite answer.
Thanks in advance

Hi kumasan,
I don’t see anything that would allow you to do it. The 5500 series is a layer 2 switch with limited layer 3 features.

Oh, it's just limited support. Okay. Thanks for the confirmation.
