The mismatch is normally due to the mezzanine being present, but not with the correct switch installed, or vice versa. Verify in the CMC if the Fabric of this blade match those of which are already installed, and functioning correctly. There is likely a difference or order issue. Sometimes rebooting or reseating the CMC can resolve issues.

Dear team,

The problem occurs suddenly in previous days it works fine with existing components.

How it came: Initially it shows fabric mismatch so i tried to upgrade the firmware so now IOM went on critical.

What i DiD for troubleshooting: I have done firmware upgrade  to all latest versions CMC, LCC,BIOS,IOM
I have reseated IOM and restarted chassis and server.
Even i have 2 IOM i swapped those but both doesn't works
(Note: i have 2 fc630 one is not working other one is ok)

So what we can check next can u suggest me a stable version or i can share you the hardware logs connect me trough private chat .

Hi,

Can you elaborate about you have 2 FC630 and 1 is not working, the other is? Are you referring to that the server is able to communicate with the IOM whilst the other cannot? Or 1 server is not able to turn on?

The CMC error is showing both IOM are not in power on state, which it cannot communicate with CMC. Can you inform me both IOM model, and also the mezzanine DPN# in the FC630.

You mention you have swapped the IOM, can you try only just 1 IOM in slot 1, check what is the status in CMC after chassis is turned on.

Dear Joey,

Out of two server1 has some hardware issue server 2  works fine, I am referring this for the current configuration.
The problem is IOM is not communicating with chassis or server.

IOM mode is FN41OT
mezzanine DPN# : OTKJJJ

Yes i have tried with one IOM too , but still the same , Please refer my hardware log

Hi,

if swapping components doesn't fix the issue,I think it's likely that the chassis midplane has failed, which is a serious hardware problem. You could also try downgrading the firmware to see if that helps. Additionally, inspect the midplane of the non-working chassis for any damage, bent pins, debris in the IOM slots. Let's see what others think.
