Dell S6100-On WEB GUI

Hi

Does Dell S6100 has an embedded WEB GUI?

If yes - how to access it?

If no - does it has some  GUI utility to manage it?

I found the CRUZ FOR DELL NEWORKING - but it looks like require paid license that looks too much to manage just one switch..

Thanks

Hello Evgeniy,

Unfortunately there is not a GUI. It will be command line management.

Hi

Thanks for quick response.

As I found, after SmartScripts package installation it allow to run HTTPS server and begin to provide very-very simple web interface, just show some results of show commands via WEB access. As I see on my Dell N4064 switches, the much more advanced  management module (but still not full) named Dell OpenManage Switch Administrator.

Does it exist for S6100-ON switch?

Does ex-OMNM Cruz for Dell Networking provided GUI management for S6100-ON switch?

And one more question regarding this switch. I have switch with OS9 installed.

Where can I found comparison between OS9 and OS10? What is a reason to upgrade to OS10?

Thanks

Hello,

Does Dell S6100 has an embedded WEB GUI?
: it does not support GUI and only CLI is supported on OS9 firmware.
If no - does it has some GUI utility to manage it?
: have to manage the switch via CLI by using the guide below. Easy to manage it via serial console or SSH method.

Where can I found comparison between OS9 and OS10? What is a reason to upgrade to OS10?
: OS9 is a free software and OS10 is a licensed software ( more user friendly like Cisco firmware).
