With EMC Is Bare metal recovery possible for Netware physical server
From the documentation it seems that BMR is possible only for windows VMs.
Can someone please advise if it can also be done for Netware server?
And what are the steps for it or the documentation to refer?

No. this is just due to the reason that the OS must be capable to devliver a kind of 'mini OS' to boot and to connect from.
And of course it must also conatin the NW client software.
Such image has not been released for a Netware server.

I've successfully done BMR for Linux and Windows Virtual Machines on VMWare using the Backup Appliance and Proxy. I've also gotten Windows BMR to work on hardware. BMR is documented to work for Solaris and AIX, however I have never managed to succeed in doing it.
I never tested Netware because as I was coming into the agency, we were bringing those systems down, however looking back through the notes it appears previous administrators could not get it to work either.

It might be possible...
The old Netware server was running on top of a Windows host... but then later on it runs on Suse Linux.
More information might help here... What NetWare version, and running on what platform? What NetWorker version?
