when adding a SQL client can you use NT Authority\System as the user rathan a username ?
when adding a SQL client to the NMC can you use NT Authority\System as the remote user rather than a username ?only asking as all of our sql servers alredy have NT Authority\System in the sysadmin role in SSMS as the choices seem limited in the client add wizard as it wont let you go on without specifying a password...

NT Authority\System is an internal user that represents your computer. If this user is assigned the sysadmin role then I would suggest you simply configure the backups manually, this is going to be much easier this way.
