clear the java cache.
Are you using a fairly recent nw/nmc version as then you would preferably have used NRE, the Dell provided networker java run time and not have installed you own JRE or open java version. Normally NRE pretty much always works with a recent NW/NMC version, while in the past some JRE versions had issues either being too high or too low. I can't recall too much issue when using NRE.
