Unable to select a device from the client's 'backup target disks' attribute

hello all

i have a problem in NW backups , when i try to start a workflow , it fails and i get the following message :

Unable to process virtual machine : Unable to select a device from the client's 'backup target disks' attribute. All backup target disks for client 'v center' are either not available or not mounted

and when i unmounted and i remount the data domain volume the backup works but after a while and when i restart the workflow the same issues , knowing that when i try to remount the volume it says to me that the device is marked as suspect so i disable it and enable it to have the possibility to remount the volume knowing also that i changed the dd-boost password and i updated it in the device properties

please any help and ideas

thank you

So it is not that it fails all the time? It is working until it doesn't any longer requiring the remounting of the DD backup device?

Device being suspect appears to point to some communication issues between dd and nw.

But as you haven't mentioned any specifics like if you checked the dd, if you checked why the device is reported as suspect by nw, requiring the remounting?

Nor nw nor dd versions, nor what dd we are dealing with here, it is difficult to point you into a specific direction?
