RHEL system as external storage node
Hi all,
I want to use a Red Hat RHEL 9.4 system as an external storage node. I've installed the lgtoclnt*.rpm, lgtoxtdclnt*.rpm and lgtonode*.rpm packages. The storage node daemons (nsrmmd, nsrsnmd) won't start (nsrexecd does).
I've noticed that the installation guide for RHEL doesn't have a seperate section for the installation of a storage node. It only mentions client- and server-installations. The sections on Ubuntu and Windows do mention a storage-node installation, besides the client- and server-installations.
So my question is, can I have a RHEL system as a storage node only? So without making it a Networker server also?
Kind regards,
Jeroen
