Recover vm from tapes without Data domain
Hi
We have Networker 9.2 and DD. Backups made on DD an than cloned to tapes. Now we had to free up DD for other purposes.
Vmware recovery from tapes works using a staging DD device but I was not able to find a solution to make it work without DD.
I made a new aftd device and new backup clone type pool. In Recovery wizzard this pool is not listed under dropdown list for staging.
Any idees?

@_admin, VM image level backups using vProxy is supported only and only with a Data Domain device with the existing version, unfortunately there is no work around for this. In case your physical DD does not have enough space then you could try using a DDVE just for restores with the evaluation licenses that supports only around 500GB.
