Problem recovering clone save set networker 9.1.1.2 Windows
Hello,
I am trying to recover a clone save set by running the command "recover -S 'ssid' ", but I get the following message:
96618:recover: Saveset/Clone 'ssid' found on a non disk device. Please invoke recover with -l [Disk clone pool to stage and recover]
Even when I specify the disk clone pool the save set resides on, it fails with the error:
95056:recover: Could not find clone id on the pool even after creating a new clone. Either cloning failed in last step or connection to server failed for querying.
The clone save set is located on a remote data domain and is kept for a long time. The original save set id on the local data domain has been removed by retention policy, so the clone ssid is the only one we still have.
Can anyone assist?
Regards,
Stijn

Are you recovering -S ssid or -S ssid/cloneid which points to cloneid by cloned ssid?
I'm not sure if message you get is related to capital i or small L (can't see it, I'm getting old), but none of it makes sense for standard recover command as pool is controlled via -b (and -I is for input file).
Let's go to backup for a moment - what kind of backups is this? Can you post mminfo -S -q ssid= for this save set?
