NVP-vproxy ignoes vsphere open question

Hello experts

During a nvp-vproxy backup a data store ran out of space. The backup finished successfully but it left a question from vsphere unanswered. Vsphere asked on how to further deal with the situation. Meanwhile the VM has been halted. It needed manual intervention from the esx-admin in order to resolve this situation.

Does there any best practise exists on how to deal with this kind of situtaion? Is there any possibility to get notified if a vspere question has arised? Any possiblity to prepare some cases which will be followed automatically in case question xy comes up?

We are running following Versions: NetWorker 19.1.1.4, vproxy Release: '4.0.0-15_1', vSphere Client version 6.7.0.42000

Thanks and Regards

@chrygel,

Your question is not very clear. But I assume you are asking if there is any way to send a notification if the vSphere datastore is full. NetWorker can just notify you in case of backup failures and component that you are asking to be monitored is not a NetWorker component. This has to be monitored by an vSphere or using s third party monitoring tools like Nagios.
