NMC group editor window size

Can someone tell why the group editor window spans both of my screens?

In the attached screenshot I resize it to the size of a single screen.

There is nothing in any of the data boxes that is so large that it would have to do this.

Note the scrollbar at the bottom, there is no reason for this.

Why!?
