Networker Disaster protection with RP4VM

Hi,

Is it possible following scenario:

- two separate sites with WAN links

- primary site has NW/VE in VMware, physical NW storage node with DD system and tape library system

- secondary site has physical VW storage node with DD system and tape library system

- NW 19.2.1 version

- RecoverPoint for VMs 5.2

Is it possible to protect NW/VE Server with RecoverPoint for VMs system to secondary site, so if there is Disaster on primary site, to simply perform RP NW/VE VM "failover" procedure and start NW/VE server on secondary site with same/different host name and different IP address?

Is this solution possible?

Can we perform restore of NW clients on secondary site after NW/VE failover there?

Thanks,
Danail

Well, NetWorker is on a OS or an appliance on a hypervisor. RP4VM could look at it as any other VM, So your solution should work. You mentioned you are using a Tape library, so how are you going to handle it ? I assume you have a physical storage node for it on the DR location. Also, the JB might be required to be reconfigured within NetWorker after the migration.
