Networker configuration management and auditing
Hello,
Networker 9.x,18.x+, does not audit policy workflow changes and below in /nsr/logs/rap.log. (We filed RFE NW-I-674 which was subsequently turned down).
Does anyone else have a requirement or need to audit Networker configuration changes? What are you using/doing to accomplish this?
Currently, we are dumping everything from a nsradmin query to a file daily, however, if we ever needed to go back and look at this, it will require rocket science to decipher. We have filed RFE NW-I-436 in request of a method to dump the Networker configuration in a human readable format.

I have not really looked carefully enough at NW 9.x and 18.x but I did not really find anything strange so far.
However, I found that NW 19.1.0.0 & 19.1.1.0 has this problem:
- Not all changes will be logged (only for certain resources).
- The timestamp of the last entry in rap.log can be different than the file's last access time.
That's why you should upgrade to NW 19.1.1.1 which has been released about a weeks ago. Please be aware that this version will not solve all rap.log logging issues - problems with policy related changes still exist.
