networker 7.3.4: "Could not initialize a GUID list for ASR"
Hi all,
at a customer site saving ASR:\ fails constantly:
client:ASR:\ Automated System Recovery Files - Could not initialize a GUID list for ASR
client:ASR:\ Automated System Recovery Files - Failed to initialize the ASR context
client:ASR:\ Automated System Recovery Files - Error saving
client: ASR:\ level=full, 1 KB 00:00:09 1 file
That errors also occur, if ASR:\ is the only save set within a client instance which is started by a test group.
environment:
client
Nw 7.3.4.Build.560 on w2k3 (x64)
server
NSR 7.2.Build.499 on Solaris 10
The problem remains also with Nw 7.3.2.Build.11 client.
On a different w2k3 (x64) host with identical hardware and software saving ASR:\ succeeds.
According to esg67797 and esg71826 LGTpa70325 (ASR fails with: 'Could not initialize a GUID list for ASR.') was included in networker 7.1.4 and 7.2.1. However LGTpa70325 does not apply in our situation:
"Fact: ASR backup works if saveset field is ASR: by itself"
Any ideas?
Thanks a lot!
Martin
