License enabler expiration warning after upgrade to NetWorker 8.2.1.0.Build.681
Hi,
after upgrading our linux_x86_64 based NetWorker Server to version 8.2.1.0 Build. 681 we're getting a registration warning stating that our "NetWorker Source Capacity Data Zone Enabler" and both "NetWorker Source Capacity xxTB License" will expire in 16 days. In the course of a network related change we also disabled one network interface and removed the previously defined 'server network interface' from all backup client resources.
What needs to be done to get our licenses permanent again?
Thanks in advance for your help! hwi

Obviously the authcode got lost during network re-configuration. (The hostid is still the same). After re-entering the original authcode (from the Machine Dashboard of "https://powerlinklicensing.emc.com/") everything is fine again.
Thanks anyway for your support!

Your auth code is no longer valid due to hostid change. hostid is related to IP address so you will need to do license transfer.

Send an email to licensing@emc.com. They will help you to get new enabler and auth code.

Can I do this on my own via the 'rehost' task?

With help of licensing - yet. You have to provide them new hostid and they will provide you new auth codes - see what has been said on that topic before by others.
