incremental backup is getting failed : with error test RPC receive operation failed

so E ORA-27027: sbtremove2 returned error ORA-19511: non RMAN, but media manager or vendor specific failure,
error text: RPC receive operation failed; peer = 10.250.255.10:8490, errno = Connection timed out (2:2:110)

WOW - what an error message!
What do you want to tell us? - An incremental fails ... but a full does work ?
And what do you expect? - That somebody will guess why you would have a 'connection problem' so that the backup will either not start or it fails during the backup?
You better check the connection with all participating hosts. When you solve this issue, most likely your backups - no matter whether they are standard filesystem or database backups - will work again.
