How to configure NetWorker CCR Clone Jobs to Remote DD?

My situation is that I have three sites each with Data Domain and storage nodes all managed by a single NetWorker instance.  Two of the sites backup clients locally then data is cloned with CCR to the third site for immediate offsite requirements and kept for 2 weeks for DR purposes.  My question is related to clone jobs and ddboost.  The setup below shows an example of the current setup. 

Current setup

Site 1

     Storage Node 1 ( Backup pools and Tape out)
      device example
           ind_fs.001
           LTO5 Tape 1

      Storage Node 2 ( Used for Site replication has backup pools and clone pools )
       device example         

           DRSite_ind_fs.001
          ind_fs.001

Clone Job

         Source Storage Node = Site 1 - Storage Node 2
           Destination Storage Node = Site 1- Storage Node 2

This has been working fine for some time however I have to present every device for backup and clone pool on Storage Node 2.  We are getting an error that I have reached the maximum number of Devices on a Storage Node.  I am trying to balance and reduce the number of devices.

Questions

1. If I change the clone job to not having the source and destination it would allow me not to have to present all the backups pools to Storage Node 2 but I have been told using the same will use DDBoost.

            Source Storage Node = Site 1 -Storage Node 1

           Destination Storage Node = Site 1 -Storage Node 2 

    Will I still be using DDBOOST? 

2. If the above still uses DDBOOST should I change to use the remote storage node as the destination of clone jobs.

Source Storage Node = Site 1 -Storage Node 1
Destination Storage Node = Site DR -Storage Node DR
