Disable Networker 8.2 LDAP/AD Authentication Trough Linux Command Line?
Does anyone know if there's is a Linux command to disable LDAP/AD authentication for NetWorker 8.2 or a way around the following problem?
Whenever we try to log into the NetWorker NMC, as administrator or root, we get the following message:
"The specified user name is restricted and cannot be used to log into the system".
According to the administration guide, this appears when an attempt is made to log into the Console server with the username Administrator and LDAP or AD authentication is configured. We're assuming that someone or something enabled AD authentication. To solve this issue, the administration guide recommends to log into the Console server with a different LDAP or AD username.
The only problem with this is that the personnel who had accounts in Networker linked to AD are no longer here.
