Config Hyperv HA (PE + Unity)
Infra:
Unity 600F with 60Tb SSD
3 x R740 - IntelGold 5220R - 512 RAM - ETH FC (2) y ETH 10GB (4)
1 x EMC DS-6505-24
1 x DELL XRK7V - PowerConnect S4810P
The 3 servers are running Windows Datacenter with the Hyper-V role and are connected via FC (Fibre Channel) to the Unity.
The XRK7V will be used to connect other servers to access SQL LUNs on the Unity, which will also be connected to that switch, just like the R740s.
My question:
How do I configure the platform for high availability? I was thinking of setting up MSCS with Hyper-V, but if I configure it via iSCSI, only one node can assume the entire load, and I want all of them to have the ability to assume the load. In the event of one of them failing, I want the VMs to move to the remaining nodes.
If I configure it using SMB 3.0, will HA (High Availability) still be active? How would I configure Hyper-V?
Remember that the R740s only see the Unity via FC.
