can I use for database module in the same client without reinstall networker?

I have two sqlserver server client and they used to be backup as filesystem backup,  we have sufficient license, so I want to use the for database module to backup sqlserver directory.

In that case,  can I just add it for database module in the same client or reinstall the networker ?

Hi,

NMDA is used for protection of :

oracle

sybase

db2

Mysql

Notes

NMM is used for protection of :

exchange

sql

sharepoint

Hyper-V

If you want protect you sqlserver you must use NMM (networker module for microsoft applications)

Yes - database modules in fact must be installed in addition to the client package.

As listed, you got 2 licenses for Linux/Windows clients and you have not used any of them.

The Used/Remaining counters will change with the first backup.
