Backup of Exchange DAG configured as IP Less
Hello everyone!
Im going to setup backup of an Exchange 2013 DAG that is configured as IPLess. With NetWorker being one of those softwares who wants to be able to resolve the address of anything that moves, problem occurs. Does anyone managed to setup backup of an IP Less Exchange 2013 DAG (Active/Active)?
Some technical information about the environment.
Backupserver: NW 8.1.0.1 build 199
Exchange: Exchange 2013, IPLess DAG, Active/Active, 2 servers with Exchange and CAS on both.
NW Client on Exchange: NW 8.2
NMM version on Exchange: NMM 8.2

It is not supported.
Networker needs a Management IP for federated Backup as outlined in the release nodes.
What do you think is the benefit of running DAG without Administrative Access Point ?

So looks like IPLess DAG is not supported.

Hi!
I dont think there are any benifits, but the Exchange admin who did the Exchange setup thought so.
But I will have to tell him set a static IP of the DAG to get backup working.

This Exchange DAG is not in production yet so that wont be an issue.....luckily....

Wich means reinstall of the DAG !
Adwise the Exchange Guy to talk to all parties in the Setup before doing things !
