After Upgrade to Version 19.7 NSRLA ressource shows only a subset of IP-Adresses

What do you expect?  -  Is there a fuctional error due to the upgrade?

What happens if you set the switch "option hidden" ?

any specific reason to run nw19.7.0.1? We try to be a bit more defensive by not using the latest and greatest. I can't see a mention about this in NW19.7.0.2 fix, but the fact that it is stating "" instead of IP address, doesn't seem to be correct.

As it shows this:

 IP address: 192.123.123.11, "", "";

does that mean it has 3 IP's?

I'd only treat is a cosmetic however. Is there anything that you do specifically with the IP information? Do you use them as aliases for example? Or you just noticed it missing and wondered about it?

We had to upgrade to 19.7 due to a bug in 19.6 which caused the client retentention time to not be honoured.

Foremost this jumped into my eye, when I checked the nsrla resource. Usually this was an easy way for me to find the IP-Address of the backup interface. 

For NDMP Backups we have to implement an extra address in order to reach out to the NAS.

Until now, I didn't find any bad impact on my backups/restores, but this won't guarantee that there is none. That's why I posted it in the forum to gather out if anyone else is aware of it or any known issues are around.

the hidden switch doesn't change the output and no, I don't face any backup issues so far. But experience shows that this does not necessarily mean that there are no problems around.

seeing the amount of fixes that nw19.7.0.2 introduce, might be wise to consider going to that instead of staying on nw19.7.0.1.

Any specific reason you did not chose to go for nw19.6.1.3 (released October 24, 2022) instead, or wasn't that yet available at the time as nw19.7.0.1 was released earlier on August 16, 2022? As nw19.6.1.3 also contains the very same fix:

We'd rather update to the same major version, than going to a higher major version, possibly running into other issues.

Matter of fact we don't even run nw19.6 at all yet as there were already known issue due to a memory leak in nw19.6 as experienced by some other part of our company, that was going to be addressed by nw19.6.1.3, also the version that contains the client retention fix.

We don't want to be Guineapigs too much for software testing, hence are a bit more hesitant to go all-in on the latest and greatest, which is shown again and again alas, especially by the initial versions released for almost any major version.
