When two P2725QE monitors are placed side by side, one of them has a warmer, more yellowish tint

I have two P2725QE monitors: one manufactured in October 2025, and another in March 2026. The new one has a warmer, more yellowish color despite having similar default settings. No matter how I adjust and reset the settings, the new one always has a warmer color. Later, looking at the packaging boxes, I realized the old one is marked Rev 1, whereas the new one is marked Rev 2. Has anyone experienced this? What sort of changes resulted in the new one looking so off?

Unfortunately, that may just come down to differences in the panels that were used between revisions. I'd have to recommend contacting Support to see if they have any additional input, but I don't believe that will qualify for a replacement monitor. Perhaps with color calibration software you could get them to match a bit more, but again, it may be a difference in the panels themselves.

Contact Dell GHN (Get Help Now) chat technical support Monday through Friday. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. DELL-Daniel V is correct. An exchange would not be permitted.

Monitor revision details are rarely published. Even of the same monitor model, no two monitor panels will look exactly the same. Every monitor panel is unique and the factory default for each one is based on specific manufacturer guidelines, not a cross comparison of same or other monitors. The only way to get a closer match is to purchase monitor calibration hardware and software.
