UP3218KA, 7680x4320 60 Hz, black screen when booting with both DP cables
I'm experiencing a black screen when booting with both displayport cables attached, this is happening when connected to three different computers
You need both cables attached to get the full 8K 60hz resolution, with only one cable you get 30hz
If I have only one cable connected then it boots to the login screen OK, I can then reconnect the second cable and the full functionality works but I shouldn't have to do this every time the machine reboots
I'm using the latest Dell monitor (dated 22/03/2017) and GPU driver for my RTX 4070 (572.42)
If the machine goes to sleep then it won't recover until I disconnect one of the displayport cables
Any suggestions on this, the monitor is only 3 months old

Dell Support must verify the ownership and warranty status. Click the blue "Get Help Now" on the right to start a private live chat session. Share the private Service Tag with them.
Is there another PC to replicate issue on?
Have you tried testing two other DP cables?

Root cause is unknown. Try this troubleshooting and post your results.
* It is up and running with two DP cables at 7680x4320 60 Hz. Leave both DP cables attached
* In Windows display settings, back down the resolution to 3840x2160 60 Hz
* Close the Windows display settings
* On the Windows PC, click Start Power- Shut down
* Power on the Windows PC. Does it now boot into Windows at 3840x2160 60 Hz or still hang at black screen?
- If yes, then change Windows display settings back to 7680x4320 60 Hz

It does work in Windows with both cables attached at 8K 60hz, but when the machine restarts the screen stays black, even if I disconnect one of the cables it stays black, I have to force shutdown then restart with one cable attached, then when it gets to Windows reconnect the second cable
I still get a black screen running at 4K with both cables plugged in
I've contacted live support and sent them videos of it happening but they were unable to help

Ok, that means the fault is not the 8K resolution during the pre-Windows boot sequence. What are the three tested system specifications?
Desktops/Laptops
GPU video card

All Threadripper custom machines running Windows 11. Two have RTX 4090's each and the other has dual 4090's
On the main computer I've tried another m.2 with a clean install of the drivers and it still goes black
The only other spare monitors we have are 4K
