UP2718Q, for iMac 21.5" and PS4 Pro?
I am looking to display both my iMac (Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017) and PS4 Pro to the same monitor. I was looking at the Dell Ultrasharp 27 4K HDR Monitor UP2718Q as the solution but wanted to make sure it would be able to display both my iMac and PS4 Pro. I believe all I would need is a Thunderbolt 3 to mDP cable for displaying my iMac to the monitor and and HDMI to HDMI cable for displaying my PS4 Pro to the monitor. Is that correct?
I want to make sure I am not losing any speed or resolution when displaying from the Thunderbolt 3 to mDP. I wasn't sure if there were any other options out there for monitors. Does anyone know of any monitors that have both thunderbolt 3 inputs and HDMI inputs?

@Jake Rock Technically it would be a USB-C to mDP cable since if you just have a basic Mini-DisplayPort output on the other end, then you're just using USB-C DisplayPort Alt Mode rather than actual Thunderbolt 3. But a USB-C to mDP cable will indeed carry a 4K 60 Hz signal, although if you want 4K 60 Hz HDR, you would need a USB-C to mDP cable specifically rated for DisplayPort 1.4. I've seen USB-C to full-size DisplayPort cables that carry that certification, but not sure about mDP -- although since the UP2718Q has a full-size DP input, you could presumably use that. But I'm also not sure if the 2017 iMac supports outputting an HDR signal in the first place. If it doesn't, then you could get away with a USB-C to mDP/DP cable that only supports DisplayPort 1.2, since a DP 1.4-certified cable obviously won't add HDR support if the source system doesn't provide it.
All that said, there have been an increasing number of reports of Dell displays not working as expected with MacBooks lately, for reasons that still aren't entirely clear -- so even though the setup you're proposing SHOULD work, I can't be sure that it actually WILL. Dell displays and Apple systems seem not to be playing nice these days. So you might want to look into whether anybody has tested that specific system with that specific display, or hope to hear from someone here who has.
