U4919DW, stack two on top of each other. Questions on setup
Here we go!
1. Can anyone recommend a vertical multi-monitor stand to stack two U4919DW on top of each other?
2. I currently have one U4919DW monitor and my Windows 10 ThinkPad laptop is connected via USB Type-C in my docking station, very clean and simple. However, when I go to two U4919DW monitors, what is the best way to connect the two monitors? I have one HDMI port, two DisplayPort, two USB 3.0 ports on my laptop docking station. Should I use a USB 3.0 HDMI splitter? Curious how other people have done this successfully to get and keep the best resolution.
3. Will the Dell Display Manager be able to accommodate both U4919DW monitor, and use different screen splits on each independently?
Thanks in advance!

1. So, I have two U34s on top of one another, using this stand with base, and purely by specifications you shouldn't try it. The max monitor weight is 22lbs, and the U4919DW is 25lbs. Having said that, it probably is possible if the result is in a stable environment. Just be aware that it is a huge pain to mount these things, and have them level. The bottom U49 should be as close to the base as possible to increase stability, and the bottom of the top U49 needs to be as close as possible to the top of the bottom U49 - but leaving at least an inch of open space so you can access the top U49 OSD buttons.
2. Is it a Thunderbolt dock? You will probably want to connect one over DP and one over HDMI. Its probably best not to daisy chain the two U49s.over DP-MST.
3. DDM identifies monitors by serial number, which are unique, so you will have independent settings for each U49 - unless you check "Enable display matrix" which basically treats the U49s as one monitor, sending the same settings to both monitors. But that won't affect Easy Arrange - you'll still have independent settings, unless you check "Apply to desktop" which treats the entire desktop as one monitor.

Hi all,
I have the same problem, I need to mount 2 u4919dw on a vertical stand.
I also called Dell Support but after some days I didn't receive any feedback.
At this url: https://www.dell.com/it-it/shop/monitor-curvo-dell-ultrasharp-49-u4919dw/apd/210-argk/monitor-e-accessori
A customer can see two monitors vertical mounted, but there's anything official that can do it...
Thank you very much

Any feedback on the setup after a few months of use? Interested in doing the same, but have a sit stand desk. Will this be possible? Thanks

Read my comment over at Reddit, linked further down in this comment. Your best bet is the monitor stand from a company named Atdec : Atdec AWMS-2-LTH75.

P.S. When Dell offers a 49" monitor like this one with 5120x2880 (16:9) or 6400x2880 (20:9) resolution with 100% AdobeRGB and sRGB modes and with the same sharp and crisp text display as the U4919DW, I'll bite.
