U4919DW, firmware update failed, USB-C now not working, #7

@DELL-Chris M I have the exact same issue.  Upon prompting of a newer firmware version, I accepted the suggestion. I'm now unable to use recognize anything plugged into the USB-C port, but can use HDMI. I would like to revert the firmware and be told how to do so. If items are no longer supported, don't push firmware that breaks what already works. We are programmed to install recommended updates. This is an expensive monitor and I don't care if it is or is not still under warranty. I have the new model in my work office. A solution would be appreciated.

The purchased 3 year warranty expired 1 year/10 months/17 days ago on April 4, 2023. Dell cannot exchange it.

You failed to state what firmware was installed, but there are two firmware updates from 2022 that you may attempt to reinstall. When reinstalling an older firmware two things might happen =

1. It will notify you that the firmware is older and ask to proceed

-or-
2. It will not allow the back flash to older version

You will just have to try.
