U4025QW, Thunderbolt 4 dropouts, macOS

Hello everyone,

I've had this great monitor for 3 months now. It is connected to a Mac Mini M4 Pro running the latest macOS 15.3.1 via Thunderbolt.

Unfortunately, recently the connection to the U4025QW often drops for about 3 seconds. This can happen several times a day, sometimes even 2-3 times per hour. So productive work is unfortunately hardly possible.

Others suffering from the same issue have already reported it on Reddit and have tried various solutions. Replacing the Thunderbolt cable seems to alleviate the problem, but does not completely fix it.

Latest firmware M3T103 is installed. It happens with MacBook Air M3 and iPad Pro, too. Are there others experiencing this problem as well?

I have had exactly this problem for months, since receiving the monitor in Nov 2024. I'm using a MacBook Pro with M4 chip and have the latest monitor firmware installed. Unimpressed by the reliability of this monitor, given the high price. Otherwise it's great.
