U4025QW, macOS, external microphone dropping connection

I have a Dell monitor U4025QW with firmware M3T103

The monitor is connected to two MacBooks Pro M3 Max with 36GB RAM running MacOS Sequoia, one is using the USB-C connection and the other the USB-C to USB-A cable provided by DELL and the HDMI cable.

I have an external microphone JLab Talk Pro USB.
If I connect the microphone to the monitor, the microphone keeps disconnecting every three seconds, regardless of the port I use.

But if I connect the microphone directly to the laptop it does work fine
I need the microphone to be connected to the monitor as I use two laptops constantly and I rely on the KVM from the monitor constantly switch between my work and personal laptop.
