U4025QW, dual MacBook setup and peripheral switching

Dear Dell Support,

I am reaching out to inquire about the capabilities of the U4025QW monitor for my specific use case. I am planning to connect two MacBooks (Pro M2 Max and Pro M1 Pro) to the monitor and would like to be able to switch between them while also ensuring that the connected keyboard, mouse, and microphone switch along with the display.

Could you confirm if this setup is possible with the U4025QW, and if so, which ports would be involved in this process? I would appreciate detailed information on how to achieve this configuration.

Thank you for your assistance!

There is only one Thunderbolt 4 upstream port (#6 in the picture). So one of your MacBook needs to be connected there. Other MacBook will needs to be connected via HDMI (#3 in the picture) and you will need USB-C connected to USB-C upstream (#7).

Then you can share USB peripherals when you switch the input on the monitor.
