U3818DW, not displaying any image
Hello,
I've had my Ultrawide 38" Dell monitor for some time and I was always very happy with it!
This morning it just stopped displaying an image, the backlight is still shining, and the power button LED is on, and I can even use the speakers when connected to my laptop.
But I can't get an image to display, despite having tried with multiple laptops and video cables (USB-C, DP, HDMI).
I don't see the DELL logo displayed or the OSD menu, and I've tried getting the diagnostics page to show up but with no success.
It's already on the latest firmware version (M3B106) I've tried re-flashing the same firmware but that didn't change anything unfortunately.
I would really appreciate any help you could provide. Thank you!

An update to this issue:
I've read pretty much every thread there is regarding similar issues with this monitor, clearly there is an issue with the USB-C protocol in this monitor and other than a new firmware update from Dell I don't think there will be any permanent solutions.
Having nothing else to lose since Dell Customer Service wasn't being helpful (since I'm out of the warranty) I took apart the monitor, and after a lot of testing, I've found that what works for me is the following:
- Turn off monitor
- Unplug the LVDS cable from the Interface Board.
- Plug it back in
- Turn monitor back on
And after that the monitor would function as normal!
I haven't been able to figure out exactly what steps brick the monitor, but sometimes when I switch from my work Macbook (M3 Pro) to my personal Macbook (M2 Pro) by switching the USB-C cable the screen will just go black and not come back (no dell logo, or OSD, just black screen and backlight).
I currently have the monitor mounted without the back cover because every now and then I need to unplug the LVDS cable... Dell please fix your monitor.

@theog786 I had a similar problem and solved it by cleaning the contacts with a rubber eraser. after that the display works fine.
