U3423WE, Auto KVM in PBP not working

Greetings,
if I understand correctly when I have two PBP windows and I enable the "Automatically allow mouse to move between two PBP windows" then the mouse should move from one computer to another if I just slide it in the middle of the screen, however this feature doesn't seem to work.
Any information about this?

Its only taken me 3yrs to figure this out!

I did several trials, updated 2 versions of Dell DM, one FW upgrade of monitor, swapping left-right position of the 2 input (USB-C notebook and DP Desktop). Manual swap works perfectly with hotkey but not the auto mode.
