U3417W, constantly loses the HDMI connection

My U3417W constantly drops the HDMI connection to my laptop. It's basically unusable at this point. It just goes black and says "No HDMI signal from your device" then sometimes it just blinks back on. Sometimes it comes back at the wrong resolution and sometimes it only comes back after several attempts to plug and unplug it the HDMI connection.

I've tried every connection between the monitor and the laptop available. I purchased multiple new cables to try. I've updated all the drivers I know to update and nothing works.

Please help.
