U3223QZ, DDPM, dimming, stuck on Detecting Devices
<Started your own thread. You replied to a 9 year old U2415 thread. DELL-Admin>
The DIMMING thing also occurred on my U3223QZ after updating to the latest DDPM. I am pretty upset with the new DDPM. Aside from diming on its own now, the DDPM gets stuck in detecting devices and never loads. I have had to stop services in Windows, kill tasks in Task Manager, uninstall DDPM and shut down. On power back up into Windows 11, install DDPM clean (most recent version) and still does not load and gets stuck at "detecting devices", however if I stop the services and kill the tasks in Task Manager, start the services and then DDPM, it loads ok. although after a couple reboots now, the DDPM is getting stuck on "Detecting Devices". This did not happen with the legacy DDPM and only started happening after the recent update. Not good and not functional.
Very bad software upgrade. Everything was fine till that last DDPM update. Sits at "Detecting Devices". Even after killing all the processes in Task Manager and reloading - no go! Wish I had not done that update. Removing the software and associated services and restarting does not work. I will install again after cleaning up DDPM and see what happens. For gear, running a U3223QZ with integrated web cam and KVM, a U3223QE, and DellKB900 mouse and Keyboard (Wireless).
